How exciting!!!
I wish we had an Ibsen writing now, although, certainly, this play is timely. It attacks the hypocrisies and fashions surrounding the misapplication of science and morality which have challenged us in the last 4 years. It’s probable that there are lies. But in our world we haven’t definitively known which side is lying. Or which regime is telling the truth?
The play’s point would seems to be in favor of climate change protest. But in our time climate change activism is in fashion. And Fauci’s “I am science” statement was accepted by the majority. Ibsen ‘s hero is the one noone listens to. |
