So glad to be part of this yesterday, the energy in the theatre was electric. The show started a bit late, felt like 15 minutes and not sure what the holdup was, was out on the street by 6pm. In any event when Lillias walked out on stage the audience erupted and gave her a standing ovation. She went to each cast member and gave them a bit of a hug and acknowledged each one. She seems genuinely moved by the ovation and was tearing up a bit. But like a trooper she composed herself and started the show.
It was also Lola Tung's final performance; I have no idea who she is but there are a lot of younger people in attendance who were obviously big fans based on the loud cheers she received as well. I thought she did a great job and thoroughly enjoyed her performance.
Jordan Fisher gave very moving speeches at the end for both Lola and Lillias and broke down a few times. Lillias also spoke for a few minutes and said that she would be back in something but right now she was just going to sit on her couch!
