I’m not a super tech savvy person but I’ve been using phone tickets for scanning for several years in nyc and San Fran. I’m seeing 11 shows and only one (papermill playhouse) did I print the ticket from home. Cabaret I had to use the seat geek app to scan ticket. Telecharge set me tickets by mail and I uploaded into Notes on phone for scanning. I think Ticketmaster I can upload to wallet (I’m not going to any nederlander theaters in this trip).
I’ve seen two shows in nyc so far and I think most people were scanning phones for cabaret. I did see more paper ticket (print st home) at water for elephants. But I haven’t really been monitoring others carefully to know what percentages use phone vs paper. But I’ll start looking now😉 |
