I thought Gutenberg! The Musical! was pretty slight for Broadway, but I did enjoy it. Of course, I only paid $40 for an in-person rush ticket, (for which I stood in line for 2-1/4 hours in the freezing cold but I had a delightful conversation with a number of theatre enthusiasts near me so I didn't mind doing it). So far the only commercial successes among new shows this season are Gutenberg! and Merrily We Roll Along.

Broadway needs hit shows to stay in business so we can see wonderful ones like Days of Wine and Roses and countless others.
