| There were a couple edgy dancers on a makeshift stage in the entrance room to the theatre. Everyone was milling around "watching" them perform with absolutely no reaction other than slack-jawed boredom. The rest of the theatre is lit by "mood-lighting". For atmosphere - not! and cheap curtain fabric to create spaces for gathering and drinking. The transformation of the theatre space is cool, tho. Reminiscent of that Imelda Marcos musical. I don't know why this show needed to be in the round, tho. just cause...I guess... |
