The book for THE WIZ was original written by a white playwright.
Tennessee Williams is a man - he wrote great plays about women.
Edward Albee was gay, He wrote great plays about staright people.
Lorraine Hansberry wrote SIGN IN SIDNEY BRISTEINS WINDOW, a terrific play about white people.
Anybody can write anything.
Please can we stop being so reductive. |
