| Just reading your post after sending my own rather crankier take. Didn't want you think I was reacting to your positivity :). In interviews and online things they certainly do seem tight: I didn't get the same vibe from this clip, but of course it's such a weird ironic song that is so easy to take out of context and has been used in so many Sondheim tribute shows as a celebratory anthem that I often forget the acid that burbles underneath. |
