Curious to hear other thoughts about this show. I saw (and enjoyed) it this afternoon. Yes, it’s messy and all over the place - but it’s got some interesting ideas and looks at a facet of queer history that’s not only disappearing/being forgotten about but may be unknown to younger queer millennials and those in gen z.
I think it could have gone deeper and told a story more grounded in real characters, but it’s entertaining nonetheless with some good performances.
Also, I thought the show might address how technology has changed queer cruising, but it doesn’t really go there.
Curious to see more from this writer, and glad I saw this. |
