Having seen this Cabaret, I can tell you that the criticisms you are reading today do not stem from Cabaret fatigue. What's on stage now undermines the text rather than enlivens it. Sally shouts her songs so as to make them painful to hear. The Emcee is weird for weirdness sake, not grounded in anything tied to humanity. The problems are not fatigue.
