If they don't first try to go for bigger names (and, let's face it, they probably will...Jake Gyllenhaal's agent has probably already fielded their call), two of the London Emcees were American and have some name recognition: Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters, and Mason Alexander Park of the recently cancelled QUANTUM LEAP revival.
Too bad for the producers that Daniel Radcliffe is otherwise engaged...this production seems like something he'd be interested in, if he was interested in coming in as a replacement. Maybe his MERRILY colleague Jonathan Groff could be talked into a quick Broadway turn around. |
