| The Wiz has been touring the US and the reviews were not good. I was excited to see it when it came to Los Angeles but the word of mouth made it an easy pass for me...and I love The Wiz. So the producers knew the show needed work and yet they still brought it to Broadway in, apparently, mediocre shape. Why wouldn't they listen to the critics and do major work to fix problems before delivering to Broadway? It feels like a big missed opportunity. Does anyone have some insight or info? | |
