One of my “desert island discs” is the 1952 recording The Astaire Story produced by Norman Grant and featuring Fred with Oscar Peterson and a jazz combo. Impeccable renderings of the many songs Astaire introduced by Berlin, the Gershwins, Kern and Porter. Perfection!
