A Little Night Music at Theatre 2020 in Brooklyn

The Night Music in Brooklyn is really worth seeing! And at $60 for front row, $50 for general admission, and $40 for seniors and students, it's a steal. (If you search for it online, be careful: for some reason their 2016 production keeps coming up before the current one.)

After seeing the recent highly mediocre Night Music in New Jersey, this was a particular treat. (In all fairness, there were a lot of good people in the Jersey version, but the direction was scattered and odd and the choreography nearly as random and silly as the choreography in the current Sweeney on Broadway--and in a similar style.)

I wish that Theatre 2020 had a better budget for costumes, scenery, and a band, but if they had those things, the tickets wouldn't be $40-$60. And hearing unmiked voices is always a treat! With a band, they might have to have mikes. And, using what they did have, they managed a damn good show.
