I assume nominees for the John Gassner Award from nominations are automatically eliminated for Best Broadway or off-Broadway play? I was surprised to see The Shark Is Broken nominated (apparently Richard Dreyfuss has no influence with OCC) but pleased actually to see Alex Moffat get a nomination in a type of role and play often overlooked. Hopefully he will win a Theatre World Award too.
