| But it is the audience who pays a considerable amount of money expecting to see her. I am sympathetic to Ms. Mendez. I saw her in the show at New York Theatre Workshop and thought she was terrific. I hear her understudy is excellent too. But much as the producers need to accommodate Ms. Mendez’s requirements with her pregnancy, they also need consider what they owe to paying customers, and, from what I’ve read, I’m not sure they have done that. | |
