The producers are trying to work with Mendez regarding her very personal situation. That is going to be the case through July 7th. If you feel that strongly about it, just don't buy another ticket for the show. What exactly are you trying to accomplish by going on this message board every few days or so and making the very same complaint over and over?
For the record, I was disappointed on Nov. 15th when she was absent for the performance I attended. Nevertheless, I have bought a ticket for Tues., 6/25 and hope I have better luck when I go. I have seen 36 shows so far this season in New York and on a number of occasions one or more of the leads was out, generally (I assume) for health issues. It's a little disheartening, but I still enjoy the shows. |
