It IS simple. What’s missing is a team of producers who give a shit about the audience’s EXPERIENCE. They only care about the audience’s money (the cost of these tickets alone justifies a schedule or a formal response — we’re six or seven months into the run and …nothing).

I would suggest that it's NOT that simple, or else Radcliffe's and Groff's absences would be handled the exact same way.

It's frustrating when a performer you want to see is out. But the inchoate rage over this seems out of proportion. Yes, the producers should notify audiences as early as possible. But if you sit down and they announce an above-the-marquee performer is out, you always have the option to march to the box office and demand a refund. Money, not message boards, are the way to make your feelings known.

And the "if you don't share my perspective you MUST be a producer/investor" accusations are just silly.
