| There's also Matchmaker and My Mother's Wedding Day which are the same for the first few measures. Of course, Matchmker is in 3/4 and Wedding Day is in 6/8, but the notes are the same. Lerner and Loewe sued (I think) or came to some agreement with Bock and Harnick who ended up paying Lerner and Loewe something for it. At least, that's the story as I heard it. |
