I realize that there's a lot of variability to this answer. I wonder about the most recent star vehicles, Josh Groban in Sweeney, Hugh Jackman in Music Man.
There's so much heightened expectation to their arrival, but did they actually turns a profit? Both were expensive shows to run. In both cases the stars had a series of absences. Did Music Man and Will Sweeney close in the black? |
