| I remember reading that the Midler DOLLY, having played a total of about 17 months (about 11 of them with Midler in the title role and raking in huge weekly grosses) returned a very modest profit to investors at the end of the day. Though, if I'm not mistaken, points in DOLLY were offered as packages with other productions, most of which lost money. So many investors may have taken a loss overall. |
