Actually... I just saw some production photos in the Time Out review. I have to admit... they look nicer than what my brain recalls seeing a few weeks ago. I sat in the side mezzanine though, so I wonder if the projections just don't have the same effect if you don't have a straight-on view of the stage.
I still stand by the fact that digital projections are a bummer on Broadway, but I am willing to admit that maybe my perspective was just not great. Wonder if I would have enjoyed it more from center orchestra or center mezzanine. |
