Are the stickers to protect the actors ala Take Me Out?
Another way of asking how explicit is this production? More so than the Mendes version? That may impact who I bring with me.
Also it’s not a great sign when the main topic of conversation for this production seems to be about the adhesiveness of the phone sticker versus the performances.
I know London is still going crazy for this production but maybe it’s because the Mendes version is less seared into their collective consciousness. Whereas we had it brought back a few years ago, they had a different production come through (twice I believe) between Mendes and this one.
Still, a chance to see Neuwirth back on stage is the worth trip for me.
And I hope the champagne is good. |
