Some mobile tickets can not be printed, while others can. It probably depends on the distributor. For awhile I was printing my tickets at a library and bringing them with me to the theater, but I stopped because it's an unnecessary inconvenience.
Only once (since ticketing went digital) has a box office person refused to print me a physical ticket. It's never happened in Chicago and just one time in New York. When I called TodayTix to report the New York incident, they asked me to return to the box office and get the person's name. I told them I only wanted to know if by purchasing an on-line ticket from them was I entitled to a physical one -- TodayTix told me "yes". That's all I wanted to know -- I never reported the person who refused to print me a ticket. |
