I remember reading a quote from Charlotte D'amboise, who I always thought of as someone completely successful --it seemed to me from Playbill and cast lists that she went from show to show to show and NO trouble finding jobs.
And then I read this quote from here where she talked about that feeling she'd get as soon as a show ended of "will I ever work again? Was that my last job?"
It made me thankful that I had given up my stalled performing career and settled into my former survival job full time
Too much constant uncertainty and constant rejection |
