| Status and agents don’t get you work. Your work in the room does. When we were shooting the pilot, I mentioned that I sing and the producers had no idea even though it was all over my resume. They don’t care about your resume. I wasn’t even SAG when I booked it. I don’t believe that Beth could also get a series right now but is simply not interested. I’ll take my series over her Tony all day everyday. And while she may be more famous than me in NYC, I can be recognized in Australia and Iowa. I’m not comparing talent. She’s the real deal as an actress. I was once cast in a role and they auditioned different women with me for the other lead and she was one of those women. She was incredible to work with. This was before Drowsy. |
