They won't make a decision on this until just after the eligibility window closes, but my strong expectation is that Mary Jane will be considered a new play. It's more or less the same production (same director, same set and sound designers, two of the five original actors) as the one that was Off Broadway. Same goes for Here Lies Love—and for Between Riverside and Crazy and Cost of Living last season.
Appropriate and Gutenberg!, by contrast, will be up for Best Revival because they are entirely different productions. |
