Scott Siegel's BROADWAY BY THE SEASON Monday, April 29 at 7:30 PM Merkin Hall - 129 W. 67 Street The next edition of Broadway by the Season will celebrate the famous songs born on Broadway in the 1948-49 Season is Act 1, and the 1954-55 Season in Act 2. Among the hit shows in those two seasons were Carousel, South Pacific, Where's Charley?, Kiss Me Kate, Fanny, Plain & Fancy, Damn Yankees, and Peter Pan! The high-powered cast that will sing (and dance) the classic Broadway songs from those seasons will include Tony Nominee Christiane Noll (Ragtime, Chaplin), 4X Grammy Award Winner John Easterlin (The Phantom of the Opera), William Michals (Emile de Beque in Lincoln Center's South Pacific), Moipei (International Concert Artists), Ryan Knowles (The Lightning Thief), Danny Gardner (Radio City Musical Hall, Dames at Sea), and more! Including the Broadway by the Season Dance Troupe, and the Broadway by the Season Chorus! Series producer, director, writer, and host, Scott Siegel said, "I've assembled a cast of talented performers who can raise the roof at Merkin Hall, singing with or without a microphone (and sometimes they will, indeed, sing without microphones!). And with their talent, the legacy of Broadway's iconic music will be on full display. Simply put, the series presents great songs performed by great singers!"
