| re: Women on the Verge - when Sher directed the revised version of it in London, he had the cast play it mostly in English accents, with the three non-native-English-speakers in the cast using their natural English accents (Jérôme Pradon, Willemijn Verkaik, and Ricardo Afonso - respectively, French, Dutch, and Portuguese, though Pradon and Verkaik are both so fluent in English that they just sound slightly, indefinably European). |
