Absolutely my favorite show -- play, musical, or otherwise -- that I've seen in the past year. Unrivaled performances, a fantastic score (knowingly pastiche but with exceptional motifs), a purely THEATRICAL conception that can't be topped by a flying car or onstage rain or Huey Lewis music.
As stated elsewhere, 'Dear Bill' sneaks up on you and had me crying in the midst of an intensely fast and funny show. |
