| Last year I saw 6 shows in two trips. From the sublime (A Little Life, Guys and Dolls, Motive and the Cue, Patriots) to the ridiculous (Operation Mincemeat) I never walk out of any show, but Mincemeat had me fleeing for the exit at intermission. It felt amateur-isn, and it did not help that 2 of the 5 leads were understudies. MAYBE if I had seen it at a Fringe Festival for 10 pounds... |
