| I too let my papering subscriptions lapse because of lack of offerings. At APPROPRIATE last Thursday the mezzanine appeared to be at least 50% occupied with student groups. I've seen crowds of students at the NY Philharmonic as well. Makes sense I guess as a way to build future audiences. At The Met Saturday I felt like I was at a retirement community. Same last fall up at the Shaw and Stratford Festivals. |
