| If they had quotes favorable (like the Brantley) and less favorable (like the Green) from a variety of respected critics, it might serve to stir up some controversy about the show. But the Brantley quote is from an out of town production of five years ago where though he admittedly liked the show said it still needed some work done. Apparently they did not do that work and even the parts he liked do not seem to have survived the interval. If "Lempicka" is holding on, it is likely they are hoping for some nominations for Espinosa and Leavel and perhaps score. I don't really think that will be enough to push this show into a profitable position amongst so much competition. |
