I went from someone who was very interested in seeing this show (based on the premise and cast, not knowing much else) to seriously rethinking that after seeing/hearing some of the clips. So for me this ad made a big impact. I have thought about it (the ad) a lot. I think it's interesting and intriguing and almost makes me want to reconsider seeing it.
All that was without the detailed knowledge of the history and context of the quotes, which I now have a deeper understanding of from reading this thread. That lessens its impact on me. |
