| Just speaking for myself, as a Back to the Future defender, in an extremely unpredictable year of musicals, I was simply saying don't count it out of the race. It has a lot of the trappings (good box office, staying power, word of mouth, a tour launching soon) that have worked for past Best Musical nominees and winners. This was a season where nothing was a sure bet, as we've seen in the nominations today! |
