| A friend pointed out that the middle section of Worst Pies in London ("Is that just disgusting? You'll have to concede it") is basically a direct quote of "Tomorrow" from Annie. Did Sondheim ever talk about whether this was intentional? Could just be a coincidence. I know in other cases, the quote was certainly intentional (i.e. the "Unlimited" motif in Wicked is Somewhere Over The Rainbow) but hadn't heard of this one before | |
