Wicked has its "no-fly" shows. What are some other long-running Broadway shows with backup plans?

*spoilers for 20- and 40-year old shows below*

I've heard that Wicked has a whole separate staging for the last scene in the case that the lift doesn't work for Defying Gravity.

I haven't heard of it happening at any other performances, but I swear that at one performance of Phantom of the Opera that I saw on Broadway, the trick at the end didn't work and he was still sitting in the chair when Meg pulled back the sheet. Maybe it was my imagination though.

Did Les Mis have a separate staging if the turntable broke?!
