| While what is now known as its overture is considered one of the all-time best by many, when Encores did the show right before the start of the pandemic, they put it in its original place, as the entr'acte to Act 2. It's something you don't want to be stuck on line at the men's or ladies' room at intermission and miss hearing. It sounds as though this new production put it at the start of the show. |
