| I think the Alfred Drake performance in Kiss Me Kate looked live as did Bloomer Girl and Wonderful Town with Rosalind Russell. And then there were adaptations of musicals like Anything Goes with Merman. Annie Get Your Gun with Mary Martina and John Raitt. Lady in the Dark. Panama Hattie. One Touch of Venus. Desert Song. Dearest Enemy. And a bunch more. |
