| Raises $1.3m last week and 1.2m the week before. Well above the reported $840k weekly cost which might be higher with inflation a year later. Of all the shows struggling, this is not the one thought producers would pull the plug. But maybe they are having a hard time finding another pair to take over in may that can bring in $1m plus a week. Better to leave with profit in the pocket than drain the bank for summer. Also the lunt Fontanne is a popular theater so maybe the next tenant wants to announce now for a summer start. |
