| Mandy Greenfield resigned as the Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director in 2021. She resigned, not because of other plans or artistic differences, but because she made life-threatening decisions and her treatment of the interns and others at the theatre. She continued the mistreatment of staff, but could have ended it. However, the life threatening decisions she made made her unfit to run a lemonade stand. Because of the pandemic the production of "Row" was staged outside. Water was involved. The Foley Artists (Sound effects artists) walked out. Watemer/electricity. Can you say electrocution? Why does she still have the Williamstown credit? IBDB says Lempicka is produced in association with WTF (Mandy Greenfield, Artistic Director). She is not anymore the artistic director at Williamstown, thank God. I am outraged she still gets the credit which uses the present tense. I suppose she might have a contractual right to billing, but the billing should be as produced at WTF under the artistic direction of former A.D. etc. She should be ashamed to take the credit. Excuse the pun, but she wanted the plug. | |
