“ I suppose she might have a contractual right to billing.”

You answered your own question, so you no longer have to suppose.
And there would be no need for supposition anyway.
In a case like this she’s entitled to the credit, and even if by some chance she didn’t want that credit it’s often more trouble than it’s worth in situations like this to renegotiate, especially for a one-word line-item that, unlike some of the previous behavior you allege, is causing no harm to anybody.

Speaking of those allegations- I’m not saying all of what you wrote falls into the category of ‘opinion’, but some of it certainly does - which again means that there wouldn’t be grounds to remove the credit if in fact she did want it. She was the AD when the show was produced, she’s the AD of record in the Playbill.

When Imelda Staunton premieres Hello Dolly in London this summer I have no doubt Scott Rudin will have a credit somewhere in there, even if he’s not involved, since the whole production started with him. Arguably he deserves that credit more but also deserves to have it stripped from him even more than Greenfield. But, like her, I’m sure he has it in his contract. End of story.
