The film is appropriately sumptuous. Not only is Deborah Kerr very good, but she initiated a very complete collaboration with her vocal dubber, Marni Nixon. A lovely backstory.
Plus, Rita Moreno is in it.
There may be stuff cut out of it, I don’t know.
I couldn’t watch Kelli O’Hara’s version because I thought her accent work was off. |
