| I saw this production last Friday, and agree with your assessment. It's probably my favorite musical, having seen, and loved, the 2008 Studio 54 production and the last revival at the Hudson Theater in 2017. I was particularly impressed with Talia Suskauer's Dot. I also loved the lighting, and thought the orchestra did a beautiful job. I found myself getting emotional just hearing them warm up before the performance began. I do want to add though that the dancers actually did perform on pointe. |
