I'm curious, this could be beautiful, and surely is in pieces at least, but it is one of my favorites and I'm skeptical, as I don't think the text or score invites a dance interpretation throughout the show (at least not with the text and lyrics happening at the same time), and in the videos I've seen it feels beautiful but unnecessary and at worst constantly distracting from the words and emotion of the actual characters as they experience it and sing it.
I don't think i'll be able to see it while it's running, but I'd love to see what it's like for myself.

However, one line in this review stood out to me.
"The true triumph, though, is Paul Miller’s brilliant lighting, which continually invites the audience, as Seurat once did, to reconsider how it views what seems so obvious in front of them."

Seems to me that he says the lights are doing is exactly what the added dance concept is *meant* to do... and if in a production built on and around this added dance concept, the true triumph is the lighting... and how the lighting, not the dance, invites the audience to reconsider what seems obvious... seems like the dancing may not have actually brought that much to it? If I were the director/choreographer I'd probably feel a little let down with that take away.
