I dunno... there are always a few glaringly bad British accents on Broadway, but I find that by and large Brits struggle much more with American accents that are both convincing (where their own accent isn't constantly detectible too) AND not slowed down or hindering/impacting their performance. I find that Americans who are good at the British (or Irish, Scottish, Australian, Russian, etc) accents tend to be freed up more, it tends to help the performance like a good costume would do, and maybe it doesn't sound perfectly accurate at least you don't hear their own accent constantly fighting and appearing. Brits doing American seem to *have* to be slower and more deadened in their performance of the text in order to do the accent. It's really pretty bizarre sometimes.

But of course I'm hearing it from my ears, I'm sure Brits are horrified often at what passes for British. Though they do have probably 100 more accent variations in the UK than we have in America, so it can be harder to say correctly "that would never be pronounced that way" in the UK.

Australians for some reason seem to be the most convincing and consistent at American accents, i'm not sure why.
