Same. I can only sit in the ORCH now and I prefer to be close.
For decades, I sat in the MEZZ and then suddenly developed a fear of heights that only kicks in when I am at the theater. I think it has something to do with the darkness of the theater amplifying the feeling of being high up and far form the stage.
I also see fewer big shows because of the increased cost dictated by where I can sit. |
