| There is the lyric change to "You Could Drive a Person Crazy" that I first heard in the Roundabout production - "I could understand a person if she (he) happened to be gay..ya think? Do I know? Naw." I think they should have kept Joanne propositioning Bobbi instead of offering her Larry. Speaking of "You Could Drive a Person Crazy," I think the revisal missed a great opportunity with the staging and arrangement in this version. I know it's different than the original, but I wanted it to be more "Boy Band" - something like Nsync. Another missed opportunity in my humble opinion. I wish the Randy/Andy joke was Oscar/Tony. |
