One production is in London and the other is in New York, just like the current situation with AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE. I can't imagine this doesn't happen with some frequency, especially with Shakespeare.
Both of these productions feature casting that is so on the nose that I almost feel like I've seen them already. I hope the productions themselves deliver on bringing something new to the material, because, otherwise...yawn. |
