If you love Jean Arthur, I'd highly recommend especially one of her films that isn't mentioned very often, and it's terrific: "History Is Made at Night" opposite Charles Boyer, with whom she has wonderful chemistry. Directed by Frank Borzage and co-starring Colin Clive (the original Dr. Frankenstein) and Leo Carillo, the film veers between many different genres - screwball comedy, suspense thriller, romantic melodrama and even disaster film. There's even a nod to Senor Wences in there. Arthur plays a woman trying to get out of her unhappy marriage to Clive, who will do anything to stop her from leaving; she meets Boyer and then, no spoilers, because it's all a very surprising and enjoyable ride.
