I agree. History Is Made at Night is one of Arthur's best films. I'm pretty sure I saw it initially in the 1980's, probably on Cinemax and recorded it on VHS. I must have watched it at least one more time afterward. However, I discarded all my VHS and Beta movies over a decade ago because I no longer had functioning recorders. I have not seen History Is Made at Night in at least 35 years. Fortunately my library has it on DVD. I'm going to check it out soon. Thanks for the reminder.

I've got a pretty extensive collection of the classic Jean Arthur films on DVD/Blu-Ray, which I watch occasionally. Some of her other more obscure films which are also quite good are Easy Living, Too Many Husbands, The Devil and Miss Jones, perhaps a few others. Most of these do pop up on TCM once in awhile.
